I'm currently reading SITG, Talebian ideal of non-interventionism because they are in empty suits and don't face any consequences for their *bold* action is so pertinent to today's geopolitical madness.
I'm obsessed with Anti-Fragility but SITG is such an easier read and applicable to everyday current affairs.

Yeah it is like he describes the future in his books (which is ironic, since he is always against forward predictions, saying the only good ones for the future are based on things that have already existed for a long time). Even after years, when you reread Skin in the Game or his other books, the messages grow along with your life experience and letting it interpret you differently again and again
I think that only very good books have this property, like the Bible

Lindy Effect
... Speaking of, shouldn't we be expecting the book 'The Lindy Effect' in 2025 as promised.

As for my knowledge, there is no book with this title that is supposed to be released next year.FatTonySoprano wrote: Wed Dec 11, 2024 12:24 pm Lindy Effect

Maybe you are referring to the book "The Lydian Stone" that Taleb was hinting at in one of his tweets
There is a person with nickname "The Lindy Man" https://x.com/PaulSkallas who is focusing on the Lindy Effect with his work since a few years and wrote books about it. (Funny thing, the books don't appear to be Lindy if you check them now on Amazon a few years later after release - https://www.amazon.com/Life-Lindy-Effec ... 1790314984).

Yes the Lydian Stone was its name, I don't know why The Lindy Effect was what was etched in my head. I hope its not part of the Incerto, and just let it be a separate book.
Ahh.. the Lindy effect is truly unpredictable!
